French film icon Brigitte Bardot has slammed Hollywood actresses who make a complaint of sexual harassment, stating “in the vast majority of cases” it is “hypocritical, ridiculous and also uninteresting“.
In an interview with Paris Match, Bardot said: “Many performers flirt with producers to have a role. Then when they inform the story afterwards, they say they’ve been harassed – in actual fact, as an alternative to benefit them, it only causes harm to them.”
International cinema’s best-known sex symbol at the same time said that she had never been recently a victim of sexual following, and explained “I thought it was great to be told that I was initially beautiful or that I experienced a pretty little ass. These kinds of compliment is nice.“
