The Stanford University-based Center for Research for Education Outcomes (CREDO) just published the results of a comprehensive research comparing New York City charter classes students to traditional consumer school (TPS) students in the New york. The researchers found “an average New York City charter student demonstrates increase equivalent to completing 23 additional days of learning in examining and 63 additional days to weeks in math each year”
